DataScouting was a sponsor of the 2nd Hackathon Serres, organized by the Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia in Serres from 6 to 7 May. This year’s hackathon theme was about “Smart City”. More than 40 students, programmers and people who love technology took part to create smart city apps and develop other technologies (Internet of Things, collaboration spaces, public space and more) that will improve the quality of life of the city of Serres offering its citizens, visitors and local enterprises new and innovative services that aim at increasing growth and entrepreneurship as well as innovation. Winning teams were given awards and offered a 25% discount in tuition of the Program of Undergraduate Studies in Applied Informatics of the Engineering Informatics Department of TEI of Central Macedonia.
