DataScouting dynamically present at the FIBEP World Media Intelligence Congress in Vienna

Once again, DataScouting participated in the FIBEP World Media Intelligence Congress that took place in Vienna from the 17th until the 20th of November this year. The 47th FIBEP WMI Congress was the largest ever since FIBEP’s establishment in 1953 with more than 300 attendees from all over the world and over 70 speakers, including members of DataScouting. Mrs Sophia Karakeva, CMO presented the latest copyright updates in Australia and the US, while Mr Stavros Vologiannidis, Founder, was on the panel of New World of Semantics and Artificial Intelligence. DataScouting supported the FIBEP WMIC15 as Congress Partner and participated as an exhibitor showcasing its software solutions for print and broadcast media monitoring, presenting its new tools for logo detection, ad monitoring and music tracking. Moreover, Mrs Karakeva received the FIBEP Honorary Award for Outstanding Achievement and is one of the seven newly elected Vice-Presidents of FIBEP. The new Executive Committee has seven Vice Presidents: Sean Smith (iSentia, Australia/New Zealand), Johna Burke (BurrellesLuce, USA), Aseem Sood (Impact Research & Development, India), Christophe Dickès (Kantar Media, France), Magdalena Horanska (MCA Grupa/Netwon Media, Adriatic Region/Czech Republic) and Oresti Patricios (OrnicoGroup, South Africa).  Mr Alexis Donot, CEO of Argus de la Presse in France has been elected new FIBEP President, taking over from Mr Mazen Nahawi, CEO of Carma. Finally, Mr Florian Laszlo, CEO of Observer Austria remains the FIBEP Secretary General.
