Upgrading the Institutional Repository & the Portal of the University of the Aegean Library

DataScouting has been assigned a project with the University of the Aegean Library within the frameworks of the project “Digital Library Foundation”.

DataScouting will upgrade the Portal of the University of the Aegean Library following the latest trends in website design and the applications of Web 0.2. DataScouting will also install, customize and upgrade the Institutional Repository of the University in order to create a Modern Institutional Repository and implement the Current Research Information System (CRIS). The project also includes the development of a unified meta-search engine and its interconnection, among others, with the catalogue of the Library and the Institutional Repository.

The project started in August 2014 and is expected to be completed in 12 months.

Sophia has a 20+ years of experience in the media monitoring and analysis industry. She holds a PhD in Mass Communication and Journalism and speaks four languages.
