Sophia Karakeva, Marketing and Communications Executive at DataScouting, has been elected Vice Chair of the European Chapter of AMEC. Chapters are the membership vehicle which has the deliberate aim of uniting AMEC members in the various membership categories in the European region. The plan to make AMEC better known in Europe will include actions to educate PR and communication specialists about AMEC’s new Integrated Evaluation Framework, the Measurement Month, AMEC’s International Certificate in Measurement and Evaluation Course and AMEC awards.
The Integrated Evaluation Framework is an interactive tool to deliver a step-by-step user process with tool tips for information and follow-on resources for the user. It shows users how to implement Barcelona Principles 2.0 and links organizational objectives to comms objectives, outputs, outtakes, outcomes and organizational impact. Moreover the Framework measures across all P.E.S.O. channels.
AMEC’s Measurement Month is a global programme of activities to spotlight attention on the importance of PR measurement. Measurement Month is filled with free to attend events, webinars, executive discussions, podcasts, workshops and much more, focusing on filling the gap between understanding the value of PR measurement and doing something about it.
The AMEC International Certificate course is open to students globally and founded on a set of best practice guiding principles to communications evaluation, including social media measurement. The next course starts on 6th February, 2017.
The AMEC Awards aim to recognize and celebrate exceptional work and accomplishment in putting research, measurement and analytics on the agenda. The awards are open to all measurement and research firms; media agencies; digital and social media teams; PR consultancies; private and public sector and Not-For-Profit in-house communications teams. Early bird entries are available until the 8th of February while the final entry deadline is on the 24th of February, 2017.
